Nate does not know how or where I get the energy to start painting at 8pm on a Sunday... I just don't sit still very well when there are fun projects to be done! I thought I would post pictures of the project 1/2 way done. It's quite a change but it looks really cool. Painting around the rocks, windows, and molding took me a lot longer than I thought. I like the detail work and I leave the open, large walls for Nate :) I'll post pictures once we finish this room.

The 50th Anniversary Holland Hall Book Fair will be Saturday, Feb. 27, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This Holland Hall tradition attracts thousands from Tulsa and the surrounding region. It features tens of thousands of used books with a huge selection of rare books, children’s books, games, puzzles, stuffed animals, CDs, videos and DVDs.

The fair will be in the Middle School building on the Holland Hall campus at 5666 E. 81st Street, between Yale and Sheridan. Admission is $1 per person.

Preparations for the Book Fair are ongoing throughout the year, with volunteers spending long hours sorting, labeling and pricing items for the sale. Over 200 volunteers are on hand the day of the event to assist with sales.

My Note:  If you never been to this sale, you don't know what you're missing.  I've gathered many bargains here over the years, including Pampered Chef Stoneware pans for $0.10 each!  I also found American Girl clothing that I purchased for under $5 and resold for $60.  It's a really great sale.

Go here to print a $2 coupon for Method laundry soap. On Monday,  I saw these on clearance at the BA Target, by the pharmacy sor $7.xx.  There are also $4 internet printables that were available earlier in the week, if you were lucky enough to get them. Sadly, I was not!

I hear these are also on sale at Target, but have not confirmed the prices.

ETA:  I've heard the $4 printables don't work for this bottle of laundry soap, but I'm not sure why.  Still checking, but wanted to give everyone the heads-up!  If you have information on this, please drop me an email or post a comment.

We've been struggling against sickness, and nurse mom has been busy comforting, teaching, and serving ~ thus, no blogging!  Priorities, right? 

We believe that physical divine healing is a gift from God that was purchased through the sacrifice of Jesus.  We're standing on His Word, and here are some of the tools we use to help us remember the Promises. 

Our favorite healing cd is Covered By The Blood, by Billy Joe and Sharon Daugherty.  I don't know what we would have done over the years without this wonderful reminder of God's Word.

My favorite healing MP3 is from Andrew Wommack Ministries.  It is available as a free download from this link.  I just loaded this on my iTouch, and listen to it at night when I'm falling asleep. 

Several years ago Keith Moore's Healing In His Wings cd came across my path.  I love this cd, and it also is available free online at this link.

When we found the interior base paint color in the garage, the can read "Antique White", which is a nice way of saying "Light Yellow".  The color drives us crazy! We have finally decided on a base color for the majority of the common areas.  It is called "Gobi Desert". It's a tan-grey color. While Nate was out of town this week, I painted the majority of the kitchen. The color looks awesome and makes the house feel warm and cozy. It's going to look great in the rest of the house.... just not sure when we will get to it. One wall at a time!

The previous owners took all of the appliances (oh and the fence, outlet covers, knobs, and bathroom door!... all of which we have replaced since we moved in). The table, buffet, and couch are all new. Just last weekend we bought a new TV that fits the built-in shelf. We just need to build a box or something to lift it up and get rid of the gap. We're getting there...
