Shweet Shutters

I love it when people give me shutters, there are so many things to do with them.  I decided this trio of shutters needed to be the back to an organizational bin.

I joined the shutters together on the back with a board.  I then cut 4 angled pieces to use as the sides of the bins.  No math for me--I just eyeball it, pick an angle on the chop saw and cut.  

A board across the front and the bottom completed the bin.  I painted it yellow and blue.  I love how the distressing came out.

I added some chalkboard pieces

and hooks to help with the organization.

This would work inside

or outside as a planter for herbs or flowers.
