No Sew Update on Store Bought Curtains

Tuesday, October 2, 2012

I wanted to do some quick and easy curtains for my guest bedroom.  I grabbed a two pack of curtain panels from Walmart for just over $10.00 in white.  Then I ordered some fabric that coordinated with my throw pillow from Etsy in a half yard.

I then cut the yard of fabric in half because it fit across the curtain perfectly from there I did not need to cut any more. I then used heat and bond to adhere the fabric to the curtain.  It required no sewing and so it was just the iron that was needed to complete this project.

The curtain rod was leftover from a previous room, so this ended up being a very cost effective project after all.  Here is how they look in the room right now. I wanted something simple and fun, and it is starting to look at lot better in this room. It is a bit tight in the space by the window, so you are going to have to trust me that the other curtain is complete.

The total cost for this project was about $20 when factoring in the head & bond, fabric and curtains.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
