Pallet for Home

I'm jumping right from Valentine's Day posts to spring.  This winter has been one of the coldest and snowiest in a long time here in Utah.  I love snow.  I do.  But a girl can only take so many snowy, foggy, smoggy days before it starts to wear on her. 







It was in the forties here last week, and I honestly thought it felt like spring.  I am soooo ready for spring.  I am anxiously waiting

Sometimes I get an idea in my head, and then when I go to put that idea into action, it changes.  And then it changes again.  And again.  And finally, I get it right. :-) 

Does that ever happen to anyone else?

Case in point, this year's outdoor autumn decorating.   I knew I wanted mums, pumpkins and burlap.  That much didn't change.  But here is the way it all went down....

1. My first try...

Autumn is definitely my favorite time of the year.  And it is finally starting to feel like fall outside around here.  The mornings are crisp. I can wear a sweater almost all day.  It's a beautiful thing. 

So it was really easy for me to get inspired to pull together a pretty fall tablescape.  The thing is, I wanted to create a tablescape that was not only pretty, but affordable. (Luxe for Less

The weather has turned cooler around here the past few days.  I actually wore a sweater and cords today.  I LOVE FALL!  It's my favorite time of the year!  So this change in the weather is welcome and has me in the mood to decorate!

So now I am in the planning stages of this year's autumn decor, and I decided to look back through my old blog posts to see what I have done the past few years.  (
