Wishing you all a sweet Valentine's day. Truth be told, I've never been a fan of Valentine's day, but through my daughters and our new life in America, I discovered that Valentine's day is not only a lovers' day, it's also the day to show the ones that matter to you that you care about them. My daughters make special gifts for their bff's* or teachers. I like this new tradition. So happy Valentine's day my dear, because I truly care about you and you mean a lot to me. Hugs, Si-

Joyeuse Saint Valentin! A vous dire vrai, je n'ai jamais été une grande fan de cette fête. Mais à travers mes filles, et depuis notre arrivée aux Etats Unis, j'ai découvert que la Saint Valentin n'était pas uniquement la fête des amoureux. C'est aussi ici l'occasion de montrer à ceux et celles qu'on apprécie l'importance qu'ils ont à nos yeux. Mes filles font des petits cadeaux symboliques à leur bff's* [*best friends forever - ou traduit littéralement "meilleures amies pour la vie" si vous rappelle quelque chose de votre enfance ;-)]. J'aime beaucoup cette idée. Alors je vous souhaite une bonne fête, mes Valentin et Valentine, parce que vous comptez beaucoup à mes yeux, mes chers lecteurs et lectrices. Two of my sweet sponsors have teamed up together for an event sale in Paris. Oh, how I wish I could be there, because these ladies breathe and exhale style, and just being in the same room as them is contagious... style alert! Wake Up and live

Here are some photos from the event - Wake Up Wakeboarding competition 2012, held at Green Bay, Protaras - Cyprus. I was blessed with the best clients who allowed me full creative development and the results speak for themselves. The even itself was a big success, with sponsors including Red Bull, Reef, Burton, Mini Cooper, and the main sponsor, the local surf shop - Coast 2 Coast.

The awards, which were mini wakeboards, were hand crafted by my dear friends Christophoros Acadjiotis and Markellos Achniotis. 10 awards in total, my favourite has to be the Most Promising Rider award which ties in with the event's blue and black colours very well. I previously posted about work I've done for Green Bay Wakeboarding center here.

Fengaros Music Festival in Lofou

ΦΕΓΓΑΡΟΣ 2012 - ΑΓΓΕΛΑΚΑΣ, ΤΡΙΟ ΤΕΚΚΕ, ELECTRIC JALABA, ΠΑΥΛΙΝΑ ΚΩΝ/ΠΟΥΛΟΥ, ODYSSEY from Louvana Diskoi on Vimeo.

Ohhh...so looking forward to the Fengaros Music Festival in Lofou this weekend. The event is organised by two independent production teams from Nicosia and Limassol with groups from Cyprus, Greece and the UK performing. Lofou is a tiny, stoney village in Limassol, with no permanent residents. It only comes alive at weekends, holidays and thanks to events like these.
