Ice Cream Party - Topping Serving Dish

Thursday, November 8, 2012

If you had not already noticed I'm working on an ice cream birthday party for my daughter.  I recently picked up an adorable little server at the tag sale hosted by Elizabeth & Co that was already in an adorable yellow color.  I thought it would look perfect as a sprinkle server for the party.

I used some leftover plant stakes from the Michaels dollar section that I had bought for another project. Then I found two ice cream themed cards from a Dollar Tree matching set.  I had used the set to make a matching game already, and these cards were leftovers.  They were perfect.
I cut out two of the ice cream cones and attached them to the plant stakes that I had cut down. I added them to the sweet little server and poured in some sprinkles.  I am excited at just how cute this little server looks.  The tag sale had some amazing items, and they are having another one this weekend in Westminster, MD. Head over if you are a local it is worth a visit.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
