Voici un autre brillant projet de rénovation. Sans caractère particulier, cette villa des années 1960 située près de Carpentras, a été transformée par Amélie, une décoratrice à l'oeil et la vision décalée, en une villa colorée, décontractée, pleine de cachet et très contemporaine. J'aime en particulier les touches vitaminées d'orange vif dans cette maison. Quel espace magnifique!

This is the home of James Jebbia, founder and head of the Supreme retail brand. He shares this Greenwich Village, New York, loft with wife Bianca and their two children, Miles and Nina. Minimalist, punctuated by a few iconic design pieces, this massive open space loft has incredible light, thanks to the great architectural features [industrial windows] that have been kept in the remodeling. What a lovely space!

Today, I'm loving this concrete and porcelain desk lamp spotted in this fab' online store [that ships worldwide, yay to that!]. What a great idea to use two mineral, yet opposite, materials [concrete and porcelain], and add a pop of color with the electrical wire. This lamp has so much personality! I'd love to sport it in my minimalist office.

J'aime cette lampe de bureau vue sur ce magasin en ligne [qui livre dans le monde entier, yay!]. L'utilisation de 2 matières minérales mais totalement opposées telles que le béton et la porcelaine est très réussie et le rajout d'une touche de couleur pour le cordon électrique rend cette lampe assez unique. Je la verrais même très bien dans mon bureau minimaliste.

This is the Copenhagen apartment of Tanja Vibe, the owner of Danish-Swedish graphic design studio All the way to Paris. Furnished with iconic design pieces, Tanja's flat is stylish and comfortable. Oh, and incredibly authentic and inviting.

More recently installed signage at Conway Hall. The signage includes directional signs throughout the building and updating hand-painted boards on the exterior with new text. The aim of the signage was to provide new helpful signs but in a way that integrated with the look and feel of this very special building.

There is a nice mention by John Bird in The Big Issue 19/12/12 about Conway Hall 'as the scene or some of the most important human rights events of the last 60 years'. You can see their varied programme of events at conwayhall.org.uk.

I like it, a lot! The Nobody chair produced by Danish brand Hay, that is. Made of PET felt, a 100 % recyclable material made from used water and soda bottles, Nobody's only structure is textile : the felt was put in form presses and heated up... No frame, plastic, screws or glue are used in its production. How more eco-friendly can a chair be?

J'aime Nobody... j'aime beaucoup même.... La chaise Nobody est produite par la marque danoise Hay. Faite de feutrine PET, un matériau 100% recyclable fabriqué à partir de bouteilles d'eau et de soda usagées, Nobody est faite exclusivement de feutrine, pressée, chauffée et moulée. Aucune coque, aucun plastique, aucune colle ou vis n'est utilisé dans la fabrication de cette chaise. On peut difficilement trouver plus écologique comme design. 

The fun story behind the lighter grey chair pictured above is that there was a mistake in the shipment sent to Laurence Simoncini - she had ordered dark grey colored Nobody chairs only. When she unpacked, she realized the lighter colored chair was the queen mixed with the darker ones. Brilliant! Pour la petite histoire, Laurence Simoncini avait commandé des chaises Nobody uniquement dans le coloris gris foncé. Suite à une erreur dans le colis, et à l'ouverture des cartons à réception, Laurence s'aperçoit que la chaise gris clair arrivée par erreur met en valeur les autres chaises et devient point focal.
